ABU DHABI Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan arrived in Cairo for a meeting with President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi on Tuesday. According to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi, the two leaders discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations as well as developments in regional issues of common concern. Lauding Egyptian-UAE relations, Radi said the bond between the two countries has been special since the time of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, the statement added. “I discussed with my brother, President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, ways to strengthen and develop our fraternal relations in all fields. We discussed key regional and international issues,” tweeted Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. “The UAE and Egypt are united by a long-standing historical relationship that is growing ever stronger. We stand together firmly against all attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of the Arab region or to undermine its security and stability,” Bin Zayed added. Bin Zayed last visited Egypt in April.
