Egypt and Sudan's water security is part and parcel of Arab security, the Saudi cabinet stressed Tuesday during a virtual meeting under King Salman bin Abdulaziz. The meeting addressed, among other things, the resolutions passed during the Arab Foreign Ministers Council's extraordinary session on Ethiopia's dam, regarding the formation of a special committee to follow up any developments on that score in coordination with the UN Security Council, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. Asserting the need to resume good faith negotiations to reach a fair and well-balanced agreement, the kingdom rejected any measures that would infringe upon the water rights of all the parties involved.
