Egyptian winger Amr Warda joins Larisa on loan from PAOK

Egyptian winger Amr Warda has officially joined Greek club AE Larisa for one season on loan from PAOK FC, the latter club announced on Friday.
Warda signed a one-year contract extension before sealing the loan move, according to PAOK's official website.
The future of the 25-year-old has been uncertain after a reported dispute with PAOK management.
He spent the second half of last season on loan to Greek side Atromitos after a feud with PAOK's then-coach Razvan Lucescu. He scored two goals in 12 league appearances with Atromitos.
The former Ahly player, who has made 30 international appearances so far, began his overseas career on August 2015 when he signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Greek club Panetolikos, on a free transfer from the Cairo giants.
On January 2017, Warda signed a three-and-a-half year contract with Thessaloniki's PAOK.
Warda was a member of the Egyptian national team which played in the World Cup last year and in the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
He was excluded from Egypt's camp at the Nations Cup at home last month for disciplinary reasons, after coming under fire over accusations of inappropriate behaviour on social media. He was pardoned by the football association, reportedly after pressure from his teammates, and made a public apology, but Egypt was eliminated from the prestigious tournament in the round of 16.
PAOK FC won the Greek Super League title last season, while Larisa ended the competition in tenth place.
