Ghana await an interesting match against Tunisia in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Monday, according to coach Kwesi Appiah who hopes his team will avoid the mistakes of eliminated big teams like hosts Egypt, Morocco and Cameroon. The Black Stars will be facing the Tunisians at Ismailia Stadium in the last 16 of the prestigious tournament. Title contenders Egypt, Morocco and Cameroon were suddenly eliminated after losing matches against South Africa, Benin and Nigeria respectively. Ghana reached the last four of the previous six editions of AFCON, but last won the title in 1982. "We always motivate our players to deliver a good performance. We will try to avoid the mistakes that happened with big candidates like Egypt, Morocco and Cameroon," said Appiah. "I respect all our opponents. Especially in this tournament you can't underestimate any team. We will do our best against Tunisia as they are a big team and we can't underestimate them. "We have to take things lightly. The recent elimination of Egypt, Morocco and Cameroon won't ensure that we will win the title. Every team has its own ready players and we have more than one ready player in every position this tournament," the coach concluded.
