Four people were killed and two injured when a private car and a pick-up truck crashed in Upper Egypt on Monday, state news agency MENA reported. The crash occurred on the Eastern Agricultural highway in the village of Balabish in Sohag governorate. The dead were all from Faw village in Qena governorate. The car's driver, 29, was killed, as well as a 50-year-old man, his brother, 52, and a 30-year-old man. Upper Egypt witnessed another road accident on Saturday when 14 people died and two were injured in Minya.
