Ahli manager Hossam Al-Badri has warned striker Dominique da Silva that he could lose his place in the team if he failed to control his temper, according to the club's website. Dominique was about to get involved in an altercation with teammate Ahmed Shokri after the latter had tackled him in training. The Mauritanian was eventually fined $2000 and received a scolding by Al-Badri, who made it clear that such behavior will not be tolerated in the future. Dominique, 22, faces fierce competition for his place in Ahli's attack next season amid the presence of fellow foreigners Oussou Konan and Fabio Junior in addition to Egypt duo Geddo and Emad Meteb. Meanwhile, Ahli have concluded their pre-season camp in Antalya, Turkey by playing a final warm-up game against an amateur side instead meeting Saudi Arabia's Al-Wehda. The Egyptian league holders won the game 10-1 as they continue to prepare for the CAF Champions League group stage opener against Mazembe in July 8.
