A confident Dominique da Silva is unfazed by his new rival strikers at Ahli as he is ready to welcome a world class talent like Cristiano Ronaldo on board. In addition to Egypt duo Emad Meteb and Geddo, Ahli added Al-Sayed Hamdi and Brazilian Fabio Junior to their frontline this summer, with Dominique forced to fight for his place. “I think I've produced some good performances with Ahli in my first season and I am totally confident in my abilities and hopefully I will succeed here,” the Mauritanian told FilGoal.com. “Even if Ahli signed Cristiano Ronaldo, I have no problem!” Dominique has been impressive since joining Ahli from Sfaxien in the winter break, scoring a number of crucial goals en route to the league title last term. Jose relationship Dominique has, however, been involved in a couple of incidents with Ahli boss Manuel Jose, who sent the 22-year-old striker out of the team's training twice recently. “I have a good relationship with the coach, there is no problem whatsoever with Jose,” he added. “What happened in training is normal. The relationship between the manager and the players is organized here and I respect that.”
