Egyptian Champions Ahly have signed a three-year contract with Ivorian attacker Oussou Konan, although the financial details have not been announced. “Konan arrived at the club Tuesday morning, signed his contracts and wore the red jersey after agreeing on all the move's details,” reads a statement on the club's official website. The 23-year-old hitman, who joined Maqassa in 2010 from Tunisia's Esperance, quickly proved himself in the domestic league. He is Ahly's fourth foreign player after striker Mauritanian Dominic da Silva, Brazilian Fabia Junior and Algerian Amir Sayoud. After weeks of negotiations, Konan will be medically examined Tuesday before flying to Turkey to join his new teammates in their closed training camp. The winners of six Afica Champions League trophies are preparing to kick off the group stage of this year's tournament with DR Congo's Mazembe clash on 8 July. They were also drawn with bitter rivals Zamalek and Berekum Chelsea of Ghana.
