Bayern Munich will miss Franck Ribery when they face Freiburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday due to an ankle injury, coach Louis van Gaal said. The French winger, who has been blighted by injuries this season, helped Bayern reach the Champions League quarter finals on away goals after a 4-4 aggregate draw. He won't be able to feature in Bayern's game against Freiburg though. "It was arranged that he would play against Fiorentina and not play the league match," Van Gaal told reporters on Friday. "We have to give him time to recover. He has been amazing for us while still not fully fit." Bayern are on top of the league table with 53 points, two ahead of second-placed Schalke.
