Bayern Munich will have to do without Luca Toni and Franck Ribery when they face Hoffenheim in their opening Bundesliga game on Saturday. Italian striker Toni is struggling with a persistent heel injury while French winger Ribery, who has just recovered from a knee problem, was not deemed 100% fit to take part in the game by coach Louis van Gaal. "Ribery worked well but three training sessions are too few to integrate him into the team," the Dutch coach told reporters on Friday. The Bavarians will also miss Argentinean defender Martin Demichelis, who will be sidelined for at least six weeks after tearing a ligament in training.
