Bayern Munich will have to do without winger Franck Ribery when they face Nurnberg in the Bundesliga on Saturday, the club said on Friday. The Bavarians said on their website that a minor ankle complaint would rule the French international out of the Nurnberg game. He sustained the injury during Bayern's 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in the Champions League on Wednesday. "This is a precautionary measure," Bayern coach Louis van Gaal said on the club's official website. "Ribery will be available for the following game at home to Hamburg (on 28 February)." Bayern will also miss Belgian defender Daniel van Buyten, who suffered a calf injury against Fiorentina. The 21-time German champions lie second in the Bundesliga with 48 points, behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen on goal difference.
