Zamalek have named a 20-man squad for next week's Champions League clash against Ahli, with star midfielder Shikabala back on the list. Shikabala, who spent the past six months without a club after being released by Al-Wasl, is now available for the Ahli clash despite lacking match practice for nearly eight months. New manager Helmi Toulan – set for his debut on the bench – has also named striker Ahmed Gaafar, who ran out of contract by the start of the month. Gaafar, who was keen to leave Zamalek over unpaid wages, has finally decided to stay by signing a new deal on Friday to be eligible for the Ahli tie. Veteran Ahmed Hassan also made the provisional squad, but new signing Mohamed Al-Akabawi was left out.
