Striker Ahmed Gaafar has become the latest Zamalek player to express his desire to leave the Cairo club over unpaid wages. “I am seriously considering leaving Zamalek. The current atmosphere is not encouraging and I cannot continue like that," the 26-year-old told FilGoal.com. “The board did not keep its word and pay our late wages. We have dues from last season and we have a lot of financial commitments." Zamalek have been struggling with lack of funds in recent months; an ordeal that saw the likes of Amr Zaki and Shikabala leave this summer. Veteran Ahmed Hassan is also on the move after requesting transfer to Belgium's Lierse, while Razak Omotoyossi had almost rescinded his contract last month. Meanwhile, Zamalek said that Hassan and Gaafar have both been absent from Thursday's session without permission.
