Egypt's Minister of Defense, Sedki Sobhy met Sunday with US Congress delegation headed by Dana Rohrabacher in Cairo, Al-Bawaba News reported. During the meeting, Sobhi discussed with the delegation a number of international and regional issues, as well as discussing counter-terrorism efforts. Sobhi praised the great cooperation relation between Egypt and the United States in various fields, stressing on the importance of unifying international efforts to counter extremism and terrorism. For its part, the congressional delegation praised the Egyptian efforts to maintain Middle East's stability and security, confirming its support for Egyptian government actions that aim to boost the country's economy.
