The Egyptian Navy celebrated Friday the arrival of the French helicopter carrier Mistral, named after late president Gamal Abdel Nasser, to Alexandria. The vessel was received with navy sirens and decorative flags that were lifted all over navy ships participating in the celebration. Military band members played patriotic songs. Commander of the Egyptian Navy Osama Rabea ascended the helicopter carrier and conveyed greetings from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Sedqi Sobhi to the vessel's crew and greeted them on their safe arrival.
