Egyptian commandos school will provide training to the Iraqi special forces in the framework of the military cooperation agreements signed recently between the two countries, Al Bawaba News reported on Wednesday. Sources in Iraq's Ministry of Defense revealed that Iraqi special forces will be sent to Cairo to be trained with their Egyptian counterparts on the ways to deal with street battles and gangs in addition to the ways to confront the terrorists in the open areas and the residential areas. According to diplomatic sources, the training comes upon the agreements signed between the two countries during the recent visit conducted by Iraq's Minister of Defense Khaled al-Obaidi to Cairo last month. The agreements could pave the way for restoring the military and political cooperation between the two countries during the coming period.
