Muslim Brotherhood (MB) senior figures in Istanbul called on Turkish and Qatari governments to interfere for rebroadcasting Rabaa TV channel, Al Bawaba News cited MB sources Sunday. The sources said Ahmed Abd El Rahman, the MB newly elected deputy guide, held negotiations with Turkish and Qatari officials to interfere for convincing French officials to rebroadcast the suspended channel. French Utelsat Sattelite banned the MB-linked channel on April,30 for inciting violence and terrorism. "The channel may be renamed in a maneuver to rebroadcast the channel. An alternative satellite could be the way out if France did not respond," the sources who asked to stay anonymous added. Egypt's MB-allied former parliamentarian, Sheikh Mohamed Al Saghir, a Jama'a Islamiya (Islamic Group) affiliate affirmed that Rabaa channel will reappear soon without renaming or using an alternative satellite.
