EGYPT: Investigation of the two brothers accused of kidnapping two Coptic girls in Nazlet al-Abeed started today under the supervision of the attorney general of southern prosecutions. Today the prosecution called Gomaa and his brother Sayed, who are accused of kidnapping Christine Ezzat, age 17, and her 14 year-old cousin Nancy. The two brothers were accused by the girls' parents, who said their daughters were kidnapped on their way to church. The people of Nazlet al-Abeed village protested last Sunday outside the security headquarters demanding the return of the two girls, but efforts succeeded in dissolving the protest.
