Mostafa Gaafar insisted he will consider his future with Zamalek in case the club fail to increase his yearly salary, revealing a buy-out clause in his contract that allows him to leave for EGP 500,000. The 26-year-old striker is frustrated at not being valued by the Cairo giants despite enjoying an excellent form since arriving from Mahalla-based club Al-Baladeya in 2004. "I want my work to be appreciated by the club. It is not proper that my salary hasn't been increased although I took part in most of Zamalek's matches in the past two seasons," Gaafar told Egyptian daily Al-Masry Al-Youm. "I demanded Zamalek chairman Mamdouh Abbas to treat me like some of my teammates, who were not playing but earned high salaries. "I may leave if the buy-clause is activated, but I do not wish to leave Zamalek in such a way," he added. Gaafar has moved down the pecking order since the arrival of coach Henri Michel in January as the Frenchman prefers to field Amr Zaki, Gamal Hamza and Abdul-Halim Ali.
