CAIRO, Sept 10, 2018 (MENA) - Kazakh Ambassador in Egypt Arman Isagaliev stressed the depth of historic ties between his country and Egypt in various fields including the religious ones. He further pointed out to Egypt's pioneering role in the region and the whole world. In statements to MENA on the sidelines of the meeting held between Awqaf (Endowments) Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa with the Kazakh minister of religious affairs on Monday, Isagaliev said that both countries celebrated last year 25 years of establishing joint ties. He referred to the importance of the visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Kazakhstan in 2016 which opened a new chapter in boosting bilateral cooperation in scientific, economic, commercial and religious domains besides political coordination between the two countries regarding various regional and international issues. The diplomat affirmed the success of the current visit of Kazakh minister of religious affairs to Egypt, pointing out to the meetings he held with number of Egyptian officials which focused on promoting joint relations and bilateral cooperation in spreading the values of co-existence and peace.
