LONDON, Sept 10, 2018 (MENA) - At least 17 Daesh militants were killed in airstrikes carried out by the international coalition forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Deir Ezzor, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Monday. SOHR said the military operation aimed at ending Daesh's control over its last strongholds in Deir Ezzor. The SOHR and the SDF have jointly launched their last operation against Daesh Organization east of Euphrates, to terminate its presence in the area as a dominant Organization, and to control the entire area east of Euphrates by International Coalition-supported Syria Democratic Forces, except for several villages on the eastern banks of the river opposite to Deir Ezzor city.
