CAIRO, Aug 2 , 2018 (MENA) - UAE Ambassador in Cairo and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Jumaa Mubarak Al Junaibi said that all indications show that relations between Cairo and Abu Dhabi have reached the level of a strategic partnership over the past few years. The UAE ambassador cited the mutual visits between both countries' leaders and the growing trade and investment exchange levels as evidence on the solid bilateral relations in various domains. In an interview with Al Akhbar newspaper, Junaibi said that the wise leaderships in both countries are tied with friendship and brotherly bonds, a relation that contributed to consolidating cooperation, consultations and coordination between them. Leaders in both countries are keen on going ahead with their intensified cooperation with the aim to address challenges facing the Arab region, Junaibi added. He asserted that his country is always keen on Egypt's stability and security. He pointed out that UAE investments in Egypt have been significantly developed over the past few years, highlighting that their volume is worth $6.514 billion and that 941 UAE firms are currently operating in the Egyptian market.
