"I swear by Almighty God to support you, deny myself by obedience and order and protect your reputation and raise you high among all flags as a symbol of strength, love and peace. (From the association of Al-Ahli fans). The term "Nazi" has become a description of the ideology adopted by the Nazi Party in the 1920s and 1930s. It is based on racism and extremism against the other races as well as superiority of certain human races over other. It believes in the suppression and even genocide of the lower races. The term (Ultras) has become a description of the ideology adopted by Egypt's Al-Ahli fans in the first ten years of the 21st century. It is based on racism and extremism against other fans, as well as superiority of specific fans over other. It believes in the suppression of the lower fans. It is just a similarity between the two terms. "Ultras" is a football-related phenomenon needed to be corrected and "Nazism" is a phenomenon needed to be evaluated. (Ultras) is taken from the English word (ultra). Most members of Al-Ahli Ultras are well-to-do and students in German, American and British universities in Cairo. They imitate the violence of the "Hooligans" in Italy and England. They spend their money in buying flags, banners, T-shirts and hats.
Ultras Devils (Association of Al-Ahli fans in Alexandria) and the Group Reds (under construction for Al-Ahli lovers in Delta and provinces) have become the only recourse for all former members of the Association of Al-Ahli fans, which had been resolved. Ultras members arrogantly define themselves as: "We are not moved by any purposes except supporting our team. Let us be the faithful custodian of rights of the club and its fans. Whoever dares cross the red lines will confront us first, so he has to think more than once before doing so. An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.) Two years ago, Al-Ahli was the only club in Egypt, which was supported by three associations of fans at the same time: Al-Ahli "Lovers" Association, "Ultras Ahlawy" and Al-Ahli Association of Fans. The last, launched in 2005, is a civil association belonging to the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
Al-Ahli Association of fans was characterized by an elected board of directors with sub-committees. Since its establishment, it used to define itself as an association against violence, insults and barbarism. It replaces such violence with clean and innovative support. During the past three years, the Association of Al-Ahli fans was characterized by its giant, red and eye-catching signs and T-shirts. The association was consisted of some 150 members and more than 900 associate, in addition to hundreds of contributors to the club's activities, the most of them were university graduates of 20-30 years old. Members were paying LE60-LE200 a year. That association has suddenly disappeared and its head Khalid Shaker announced that he resolved it because Ahli club board of directors did not intervened to solve the problem of the association's members who were arrested in Port Said after a match between Al-Ahli and Al-Masry. Therefore, "Ultras Ahlawy", which seceded from Al-Ahli association in protest against the peaceful support, appeared.
