‘Flight Radar 24', a website specialized in monitoring global aero traffic, revealed updated information concerning the Russian passenger flight that crashed in Sinai on Saturday, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. The website said that the pilot asked Sharm El-Sheikh's airport control tower for emergency landing after loosing control at the altitude of 30,000 feet. Flight Radar 24 added that communication with the flight lost after 24 minutes since take-off, the news which was confirmed by Cyprus control tower. "Coinciding the accident, 5 civil passenger flights were using the same aero field over Sinai but in different altitudes," the website added, pointing out that the area was free from any military operations.
