Cairo Criminal Court postponed the appeal of Gamal and Alaa Mubarak against holding them in custody, to October 12, Youm7 reported Saturday. Lawyer of Hosni Mubarak's family, Farid Al Deeb has demanded the release of ousted president's sons Alaa and Gamal in the case publicly known as "Presidential palaces. Al Deeb told the judge that Mubarak's sons had spent the whole sentence in pending custody, asking the judge to release them immediately. Alaa and Gamal have been held in custody since 2011, facing several charges of corruption. In May, they were sentenced to 3 years in prison for seizing public money allocated for presidential palaces and were obliged to pay back EGP 21mln.
