A new study warned on Thursday that Bosnian fighters returning from Iraq and Syria pose regional threats to the Balkans, Al Bawab News reported. The returnees have built ties with militants in Macedonia, Kosovo and Serbia attempting to radicalize marginalized youngsters in those countries, the study that was conducted by the Sarajevo-based Atlantic Initiative added. From spring 2012 to the end of 2014, a total of 192 Bosnian adults and 25 children had traveled to the conflict zones of Syria and Iraq, the study cited intelligence reports.
