Egypt's National Seismic Network (NSN) station recorded a minor earthquake near Abu Simbel, Aswan on Thursday morning, the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) announced. According to NRIAG's statement, the NSN recorded a minor earthquake 48 km northwest of Abu Simbel with a magnitude of 3.2 Richter at 4am follwed by a 2.2 Richter aftershock that was recorded at 6am. The statement added that citizens did not feel the quake nor the aftershock.
