United Arab Emirates' Al-Ain Film Festival will open its third edition on 23 January. Scheduled to run until 27 January, the festival will include the screening of over 370 films in Abu Dhabi's Madinat Al-Ḥadiqah (Garden City). Founded in 2019 and under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al-Nahyan, the festival is specialised in showcasing the talents of the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region. This year, Al-Ain festival is held under the umbrella of Abu Dhabi Festival. Apart from the films produced by Gulf region directors, this year the festival's programming will also include films from Europe that have already been screened in Arab countries. The detailed programme is yet to be revealed.
