The search has resumed to find the plane that was carrying Argentine soccer player Emiliano Sala from France to Wales where he had just signed for Premier League club Cardiff. The light aircraft, with the 28-year-old striker and a pilot on board, disappeared from radar on Monday night near Guernsey in the Channel Islands. Guernsey Police said Wednesday morning that two planes were part of the search which is focused on a ``targeted area we believe has the highest likelihood of finding anything, based on review of the tides and weather'' since the Piper PA-46 plane went missing. Authorities have said they don't expect to find any survivors. Cardiff announced Saturday it had signed Sala from French club Nantes for a club record fee reported to be 15 million pounds ($19 million).
