Palermo name coach for 2017/2018 season, sixth in a year

Palermo, who employed five coaches on their way to relegation from Serie A last season, named Bruno Tedino on Thursday to lead them in their attempt to bounce back to the top flight.
Tedino, 52, was previously in charge of third tier Pordenone for two seasons and has also coached Italy's under-16 and under-17 teams.
The Sicilian club added in a statement that Fabio Lupo would be their sporting director.
Tedino is the second coach to have been appointed by president Paul Baccaglini since he took over from Maurizio Zamparini in March after agreeing that his fund would buy the club.
The deal, initially expected to be finalised in April, has still not gone through and Palermo said on Tuesday that it was expected to be completed by the end of July.
Davide Ballardini began last season in charge but left by mutual consent in early September.
He was replaced by Roberto De Zerbi who was sacked at the end of November and followed by Eugenio Corini, who resigned in January, and then Diego Lopez who was fired in April, shortly after Baccaglini took over.
Diego Bortoluzzi was hired as caretaker for the rest of last season and was unable to save Palermo from the drop as they finished 19th in the 20-team table.
Zamparini oversaw around 40 coaching changes during 15 turbulent years at the club.
