CAIRO: There was peace again in Tahrir Square after the disputes between youths and protestors after opening Qasr Al-Einy St. The youths who close the street formed popular committees at all the square's entrances, while some committees permitted cars to pass from Omar Makram and Qasr Al-Nil St. Some youths clarified their objection of opening traffic again, because the number of protestors is now big again and so they could be attacked by bullies sent by the previous regime. Protestors also say opening the square means the police will return to the square to organize traffic, which may lead to clashes between both sides. One youths Ibrahim Ahmed said they will continue protesting and won't give up until former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is put to trial and executed because if the square is opened, external forces will interfere and lead to the failure of the January 25 Revolution. He added the youths will form committees to get the street vendors out again, even if this means that clashes will happen. It is worth mentioning some protestors tried to convince youth to stop hindering traffic with their continuing protest.
