Army forces reopened all routes to the Ministry of Defense and El-Khaleefa El-Maamoun Street after being closed from Roxy Square to Abbasiya Square. Military forces opened all routes after the protesters returned back to Tahrir Square, where they marched from Tahrir Square to the Ministry of Defense headquarters. The march started with a sit-in in Abbasiya Square when the army forces and central security forces closed the route in front of the protestors. The protestors snuck out using the subway to Qobba Bridge heading to the Ministry of Defense. When the protestors arrived at the Ministry of Defense headquarters, there were clashes between residents of Qobba Bridge and the protestors. The clashes resulted in damage to the front of the subway station. When the demonstrators arrived to Tahrir Square, they opened all the streets to let cars and vehicles move. Traffic movement returned to be normal after being closed the entire the day due to thousands of demonstrators participating in the Friday of retrieval of the revolution on September 30. Many protestors started to leave and less than 1,000 protestors remained in Tahrir Square along with street vendors. Some protestors started to clean Tahrir Square while some others discussed whether they should the sit-in or leave. They negotiated about how to gather political and revolutionary forces to make an organized sit-in against the military council's ignorance to their demands. There were six ambulance vehicles near Omar Makram Mosque and the U.S. embassy in Cairo in case of any clashes. Arabic here
