CAIRO: The main Egyptian stock indexes opened today with moderate declines due mainly to foreign investor sell-offs. In the morning session the main EGX30 fell 0.23 percent, the EGX20 dropped 0.36 percent, the medium- and small-company EGX70 index slid 0.28 percent and the EGX100 shed 0.21 percent. Leading shares also took losses, including Ezz Steel, down 0.18 percent; Hermes, down 4.6 percent; SODIC, down 2.3 percent; Egyptian for Resorts, down 1.04 percent; Commercial International Bank, down 0.83 percent; and Palm Hills, down 0.83 percent.
