On behalf of the Egyptian Minister of Finance, The Egyptian Central Bank will sell 5.5 billion EGP (U.S. $919.46 million) in Treasury Bills on Thursday November 10. The Central Bank is selling 2 billion EGP (U.S. $334.35 million) in 182-day treasuries, and 3.5 billion EGP (U.S. $585.05 million) in 364-day bills as sources confirmed to Youm7. The Egyptian deficit stands at 134 billion EGP (U.S. $22.4 million) for the current year. The deficit is funded by the Central Bank through treasury sales and bonds on behalf of the Ministry of Finance. The total value of treasury bills and funds reach 14 billion EGP (U.S. $2.34 million). They are provided by Arab aid and international loans.
