CAIRO: Egyptian artist Taha Korani has finished drafting section 14 of his Revolution Mural project. The project is expected to break the artist's previous record in size. Section 14 of the mural depicts the scene of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's trial. Mubarak's sons and former Minister of Interior Habib al-Adly are also depicted in the painting, with Mubarak and al-Adly's faces appearing as plaster statues. The sections of the mural cover the main events of Egypt's January 25 Revolution, including the events of January 28, the Battle of the Camels, and the trial of Mubarak and members of his regime. In 2007, Korani's ‘Friday Market' mural broke the record for the largest mural in the world at 50 meters in length and 140 centimeters high. Korani then broke his own record in 2008 with his ‘Al-Moled' mural. He hopes to break his record again with the Revolution Mural.
