CAIRO: Egyptian poet Farouk Goweda made allegations of missing monuments of Taymour Pasha's sword and a number of monumental carpets from the Islamic museum. He made these claims in his show on Hayat Channel. Egyptian Minister of Antiquities, Zahi Hawass told Youm7, "If the monuments of the Islamic museum are stolen, it means we don't deserve our jobs and we should stay at home. But since the monuments are all present, then Farouk Goweda should shut his mouth." Hawass said in a statement the committee he formed made sure the sword is present in the museum storages. He presented a report to the public prosecution. The ministry announced the secretary general of the supreme council of antiquities will show the sword and the dagger given by Taymour Pasha's family in public, so Egyptians can see them and rest assured they have not been stolen.
