Bayern Munich have all but won the Bundesliga title after a Thomas Mueller hat-trick gave them a 3-1 victory over Bochum and challengers Schalke lost 2-0 at home to Werder Bremen. The Bavarian giants, who also have a chance to win the German Cup and European Champions League, are three points clear of Schalke with one game remaining. They boast a superior 17-goal difference over Schalke, making sure that they would be officially crowned German champions for the 22nd time when they face Hertha Berlin next week. "I expected that Schalke were not going to win today, it's a very beautiful day," Dutch coach Louis van Gaal, who is in his first season with Bayern, told reporters. "We're going to celebrate. I'm a celebration beast," the former Barcelona tactician added. Bayern could claim a memorable treble come the end of the season. They will face Werder Bremen in the German Cup final before playing Italian giants Inter Milan in the Champions League final.
