Hull City striker Amr Zaki took no part in Saturday's Premier League game at Portsmouth because he sustained an injury during training. The 26-year-old was diagnosed with a sprained knee on Friday, and thus Iain Dowie, who succeeded Phil Brown as coach on Wednesday, opted not to name him in the squad. Zaki's agent Nader Shawki says his client's injury is negligible and won't keep him on the sidelines for long. "It's just a minor problem, he needs only three days to get back in training," Shawki told FilGoal.com. "Iain Dowie was in a bit of a predicament because American forward Jozy Altidore also had a hamstring strain." Hull's trip to Portsmouth is their first experience under the guidance of Dowie. Brown was given the sack after the Tigers suffered a string of poor results. Zaki, who joined Hull in the winter on loan till the end of the season, has featured for the relegation-threatened side in the past eight games, in two of which he was given a starting berth.
