Bayern Munich took a provisional lead in the Bundesliga table after recording a hard-fought 3-2 win at Werder Bremen on Saturday. The home side was fired upfront when Aaron Hunt opened the scoring only after 10 minutes, but the Bavarian giants overturned their goal deficit in less than half an hour. Thomas Mueller hit the equalizer on 25 minutes before Ivica Olic netted Bayern's second ten minutes later. Bremen's Hugo Almeida restored party 15 minutes from time but Arjen Robben hit the winner for the visitors three minutes later. Bayern, who are now one point clear on top of the league table, will move back to second spot should Bayer Leverkusen beat Hoffenheim on Sunday.
