Germany striker Lukas Podolski made a shock declaration on Thursday when he admitted that joining Bayern Munich was a mistake. “I wouldn't have had I known that things were going to turn out like this. I'm not complaining though. I'm just not happy with the situation” the 23-year old striker told Bild. Podolski spent most of the past season on the bench and was hoping things would change this season under the helms of new coach Jurgen Klinsmann. Unfortunately for him it didn't happen and Bayern director Uli Hoeness slammed his spoiled striker saying he needs a good kick. “Why would he need to kick my behind? I've barely played at all this season, so it's not like I've been under-performing.” responded Poldi. But now the former Koln striker is seriously considering a move away from the Allianz Arena. "I would be a bad footballer if I contented myself by sitting on the bench. This is too much! I'm not making any progress here," he added. However, the Bavarian giants issued a hands-off warning over their golden boy after his scintillating performances in the EURO 2008.
