It lacks only the signature on the contract," Bayern GM Uli Hoeness told the club's official site. Olic will sign for the Bavarians on a free transfer as his contract with HSV runs out next summer. The 29-year-old Croatian was in talks with several other clubs, including Juventus, Valencia and Villarreal, but Bayern snapped him up. Podolski Departure Bayern are now likely to offload want-out forward Lukas Podolski, who plays in the same position as Olic.
Podolski fed up with Bayern Podolski reaffirmed his eagerness to leave Allianz Arena in the near future on Saturday, with a host of clubs interested. Apart from some Bundesliga interest, Poldi revealed that he has offers from Roma, Manchester City and Tottenham. "I need to play, I cannot continue to sit on the bench. I'm just not happy in Munich anymore," said the German international. "I think it is time for me to leave Bayern so that I can do my job, which is playing football. I feel ready for an experience overseas and that of course includes Italy. "I know Roma are interested, but so are several other sides. In Germany the likes of Hamburg, Cologne, Werder Bremen and Borussia Dortmund. In England I'm of interest to Manchester City and Tottenham."
