Former Argentina star Osvaldo Ardiles is likely to be hired as assistant coach to Jurgen Klinsmann at Bayern Munich, according to German daily Bild. Bild reported that Klinsmann, who will take charge of the Bavarians next summer, has chosen the experienced Ardiles thanks to their strong relationship. Ardiles worked with Klinsmann during his short spell at Tottenham Hotspur in 1993-1994, as he was the manager who acquired the ex-Germany ace from AS Monaco. The report also mentioned that the 55-year-old should face no problems in dealing with 'Klinsi', as the Argentine speaks more than three languages. Bayern football director Uli Hoeness has recently hinted that Klinsmann's assistant is likely to be South American, although no names have been mentioned.
