Chelsea's Ivorian hitman Didier Drogba expressed his relief with Thierry Henry's recent transfer from Arsenal to Barcelona. The French ace left the London club last week after an era of brilliant achievements, much to the satisfaction of the Gunners' Premiership rivals. "The exit of Henry to Barcelona is good news for us," Drogba told the News of the World on Sunday. "It means that there is one less rival in Chelsea's way, Arsenal have a serious problem because Henry's absence is a very complicated issue to resolve." Arsenal suffered dearly from Henry's absence for long spells during last season, a blow which saw them end the season trophyless, trailing Premiership winners Manchester United by 21 points.
Drogba replaced Henry as Premiership top scorer last season, and the former Marseille ace is adamant that Arsenal stand no chance without their star man. "For us this one rare change means it will be Chelsea and United fighting for the Premiership again," Drogba added. On the other hand, the Ivorian striker remained cool over his future with the Blues, after being linked with a possible move to European champions AC Milan. "Milan? What a good club, they are the champions of Europe. But I have spoken to nobody," he said. "I only know what I read in the press but there is no problem with my contract with Chelsea. My deal is clear and nothing else bothers me."
