Hull City grabbed a vital win in their promotion quest in the presence of Egypt trio Ahmed Elmohamady, Geddo and Ahmed Fathi. The Tigers edged Middlesbrough 1-0 at the KC Stadium, thanks to second-half freekick from midfielder Robbie Brady. Elmohamady and Geddo started for Steve Bruce's side, with the latter making way for Jay Simpson in the 53rd minute. Defender Fathi made his first appearance in five games, coming on as an 80th minute sub for striker George Boyd. Hull are second with 74 points, four ahead of Watford who are playing against leaders Cardiff.
