Cairo stocks close week slightly lower

Egypt's bourse closed Thursday trade slightly lower, driven by local and Arab investors' selloffs.
Cairo's main index, EGX30 dropped 0.24 percent, to 7781.45 points.
EGX50 EWI index inched down 0.48 percent, to 1474.13 points; EGX20 also tumbled 1 percent, to 8077.09 points.
Mid- and small-cap index EGX70 dipped 0.02 percent, to 376.83 points. Price index, EGX100 decreased 0.09 percent to 802.3 points.
Market Caps
Market capitalisation has recorded mild losses worth 805 Egyptian pounds (around $90.6 million), to conclude 415.666 billion pounds during the closing session of Thursday.
Turnovers
On Thursday, the bourse's trading volume hit 327.398 million securities, with turnovers closed at 963.160 million pounds, exchanged through 25,949 transactions.
Also during the closing session, 174 listed securities have been traded in 82 declined, 46 advanced; while 44 kept their previous levels.
Investors' Activities
Local and Arab investors were net sellers controlling 71.12 and 17.35 percent respectively of the total markets, with a net equity of 10.168 million pounds and 3.035 million pounds, respectively, excluding the deals.
On the contrary, non-Arab foreign investors were net sellers capturing 11.53 percent of the total market, with a net equity of 13.204 million pounds, excluding the deals.
