The international bonds of Senegal saw a decline on Monday, as opposition candidate Bassirou Diomaye Faye took a lead in early presidential election results, according to Reuters. Investors are concerned that this development may indicate a reversal of the country's business-friendly policies. In early trading, Senegal's overseas dollar bonds dropped by more than 2 cents on the dollar, with the 2048 note falling by 2.25 cents to 69.88 cents. This marks its lowest price since November 2023, according to data from Tradeweb.
