EGX ends in green on March 14

Egypt's stock exchange (EGX) closed all green on Thursday, with the main index, EGX30 surging by 0.98 per cent to 31,316.43 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises' index, EGX70 inched up by 1.84 per cent, to 6,884.72 points.
The index, EGX100 index boosted by 1.59 per cent, to 9,873.44 points.
The total market cap reached 2,065,952,033,125 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and non-Arabs foreigners were net buyers with total of 583,317,894 Egyptian pounds, and 43,084,468,235 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net sellers with a total of 43,667,786,130 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Thursday
The shares of Sharkia National Food (SNFC.CA) jumped by 18.08 per cent, to close at the price of 1.744 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Development & Engineering Consultants (DAPH.CA) climbed by 14.74 per cent, to trade at the price of 109.920 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Medical Packaging Company (MEPA.CA) hiked by 10.33 per cent, to the purchasing price of 2.350 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Thursday
The shares of Egypt Kuwait Holding (EKHO.CA) plunged by 7.69 per cent, to close at 38.300 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Lecico Egypt (LCSW.CA) went down by 6.69 per cent, to close at 23.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Rights Issue Of El Obour Real Estate Investment-3 (OBRI.CA) dropped by 6.55 per cent, to close at the price of 0.827 Egyptian pounds a share.
