EGX closes up on Jan. 18

Egypt's stock market closed in the green on Thursday. The main index, EGX30 rose by 0.32 per cent, to 26,842.67 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises' index, EGX70 climbed by 1.21 per cent, to 6,334.94 points.
The index, EGX100 index jumped by 1.11 per cent, to 9000.96 points.
The total market cap reached 1,886,176,788,410 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs' and foreigners' transactions were mainly buying with a total of 142,017,560 Egyptian pounds, and 102,172,415 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net sellers with 244,189,975 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Thursday
The shares of Egypt Aluminum (EGAL.CA) rose by 15.03 per cent, to close at the price of 92.600 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Arab Moltaka Investments Co (AMIA.CA) climbed by 13.25 per cent, to trade at the price of 2.650 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Arab Aluminum (ALUM.CA) jumped by 12.04 per cent, to the purchasing price of 17.780 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Thursday
The shares of Sinai Cement (SCEM.CA) fell by 8.23 per cent, to close at 14.050 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Remco for Tourism Villages Construction (RTVC.CA) declined by 4.88 per cent, to close at 4.480 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Golden Coast El Sokhna for Touristic Investment (GOCO.CA) dropped by 4.72 per cent, to close at the price of 0.545 Egyptian pounds a share.
