Jerusalem - Palestine's Hamas Islamist movement is looking forward to establishing a leading command in Cairo in the future, a Palestinian analyst close to the movement said on Tuesday. Ibrahim Al-Madhoun explained that Hamas seeks to establish this command in Egypt to be the largest one with a view to hosting most leading figures of the movement and supporting the Palestinian cause, which is always backed by Cairo. He told Al-Bawaba News that the main headquarters, central command and military wing of the movement is in Gaza Strip, but Hamas enhances its presence everywhere. Al-Madhoun added that the movement is currently attempting to have balanced orientations in order to distance itself from the problems that affect the region, including the Qatari crisis.
