Riyadh – on Saturday evening, May 20, 2017, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump met on the sidelines of the US-Arab Islamic Summit. The two leaders held talks on ways of enhancing and developing bilateral relations, as well as exploring the possibilities and opportunities of cooperating in different fields to achieve common interests. This was the second meeting between the two leaders in 2017, as they had earlier met in April during El-Sisi's visit to Washington. Trump's stop in the Saudi capital is the first in an eight-day, five-country trip across the Middle East and Europe. Mr. Trump's eight-day trip will also take him to Israel, Palestinian territories, Brussels, the Vatican, and Sicily.
